Open up your pc! You'll find a small round flat battery inside on the mainboard!
Remove it for a few seconds (30 sec).
Now place the battery back on the mainboard.

Restart it and its good to go!
This will flash your bios and reset all settings!

Toshiba tecra p5 up on black Screen on PCI EXPRESS ERROR can't boot????

If you can't boot to the bios, you are in major trouble. You can try and see if the manufacturer has a bios flash program you can load on a Flash drive to flash the bios...you will have to research that on another computer, obviously.

How to flash bios?

That seems more of a graphic card problem.Stay away from Bios flashes unless your trying to uprade hardware and a newer bios version would help.

Flash the bios

DO NOT FLASH THE BIOS PROGRAM

Not trying to be rude, making a statement

Tell me about this laptop.

What is the model name, and model number?
Example, Acer Aspire 5552
Model number is on the bottom of the laptop.

Just black screen one day?
Had problems leading up to it?

Post back in a Comment.

[1) When flashing the BIOS, and power goes off?
You're DONE, unless when asked you saved a copy of the original BIOS; to go back to.

2) Wrong BIOS update? (Flash the BIOS)
BIOS update too new, or not compatible?
You're DONE unless you saved a copy of the original BIOS.

Too easy to turn that laptop into an expensive paperweight.

It is a fact that about two weeks after a laptop, or desktop computer hits the market; that there is an updated BIOS program for it.

But read the above again ]

Acer One pc notebook black screen?!

That is a problem of BIOS. U need to reset your BIOS.
Acer Aspire One BIOS Recovery
The AA1 has a built-in BIOS recovery routine, making it possible to flash the BIOS even if the system doesn't boot anymore. It's only meant for emergencies and may void your warranty, so use at your own risk.

Follow every step carefully!

First format an USB stick with FAT.

Download the latest BIOS, and put both FLASHIT.EXE and the BIOS file in the root directory of the stick. Rename the BIOS file to ZG5IA32.FD, that's important. Do not remove the USB stick.

Turn the AA1 off, make sure both battery and AC adapter are connected. Press Fn+Esc, keep it pressed and press the power button to turn the AA1 on. Release Fn+Esc after a few seconds, the power button will be blinking. Press the power button once. The AA1 will now initiate the BIOS flash, do not interrupt it under any circumstances. After a while the power button will stop blinking, and the AA1 will reboot shortly after. Wait patiently.

The BIOS has been flashed and all settings reset to default.

Bios update disaster

You have to download the old bios with another PC and then flash your bios with that.

Use this list to find your bios download depending on your video chip.
