I have sony handycam dcr dvd 608,when I open my handy cam,the message is showing, movie record disable

I have a Sony Handycam DCR-HC62 NTSC.The problem is i eject the cassette area, now i put back the cassette back inside the cassette area, the cassette area is not locking, and on the screen you see the eject sign , with C:32:11, stating reattached the source power. I would love if you an help me urgently please.

Can you hear the motor trying to eject the cassette and then the error code appears? Or do you not hear the motor at all? If something is blocking the tape from ejecting, you should at least hear the motor trying to eject the tape. If you dont hear the motor, then your unit needs a service technician.
