SOURCE: Can't clean out a part; need help

The nozzle will seal very tight along the sides, pry up with somethin like a flat blade screwdriver to pry it loose. When you re-install it, make sure the 2 tabes at the top edge of the window snap into the slots first before putting it all of the way down. If you don't then the bucket will sit up slightly and won't suck up the water.

I have a yellowMiele Vacuum, model=Electronic Air Clean Plus S3121. On the main body the part that the pipe/nozzle clicks into has a piece that has snapped off. I can see this by lifting the lid and the black plastic piece that is screwed to the inside of the lid has a piece chipped of it which means that when the nozzle is clicked into place it is completely loose. There is a black piece that clicks into the inside of the hoover into this broken part which is still ok so at the moment by lining up the nozzle with this loose piece I can click it into place. How can I get this piece that I need?
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
You can order the order or the schematics from the factory website listed below and I will provide you with another contact as well for the Miele S3121 in order for you to order or replace the part that is broken or you can refer to your local vacuum cleaner dealer in the yellow pages.

It may be the pivot arm. That is the neck on the power head that the wands connect into. The way to check that is by putting the handle directly into the neck and with it running, move handle back and forth forward and backwards to see if it has a short in the hose part of neck

Electrolux power head not working no power

There are four points of connection to get power to the nozzle, any one of which can cause this condition, or an on/off condition. They are the connections in the neck of the machine itself where the hose is inserted in front. The second is underneath the hose handle, where it connects to the two pronged sheath cord. The third is at the lower end of the sheath cord where the power nozzle cord connects. The last is the reset itself. That's what I check first when one of them is brought into my shop, because, believe it or not, most people don't know that there's even a reset there. If the little red button is sticking up push it down firmly but not hard. It's possible to push the bottom right out of the reset unit itself. If the nozzle doesn't activate after pressing the reset, start by disconnecting the power cord that goes to the wands. Check for blackened, enlarged connection openings, or charged, blackened prongs. If no problems found there, continue on up the handle checking each connection point for these conditions. If you find the problem at any of the connection points both parts must be replaced, the male and the female ends. That usually means replacing the cords themselves, as the ends are not available separately. If the power nozzle still refuses to run you or a qualified repair person will need to open it up to check the motor itself to see if it's any good. Once the faulty part,(s) are found and replaced it should start right back up and run normally.

We have broken pieces of black plastic that we have no idea where they came from

It's possible they came from the fan/impeller. If so, there will be minimal to no suction at the power nozzle or hose end. Remove the hose end from the powerhead to check suction.

The motor on my carpet tool (beater brush) stopped running yesterday. The main vacuum still works, but the switch for the carpet tool just clicks and doesn't turn it on.

Knowing the model would help.
Possible problems:
Broken or disconnected wire in hose, connections, power nozzle.
Hose needs replaced. Check all connections for discoloration and cracked supports. Have power nozzle checked at a vacuum shop. Depending on the model, take it to an authorized Aerus Electrolux store for this.
Bad power nozzle motor Needs replaced.
Bad switch. Take the whole machine in for thorough check and repair..

The motor running the beater bar on ny Electrolux canister vacuum cleaner runs intermittently. It runs about 2 minutes and then cuts off and automatically starts again after a 1 to 2 minute interval. I...

Check all the wiring connections to make sure they're tight.
1/2. Wiring to power nozzle motor or reset switch is loose.
1. Cord from power nozzle to upper wand. If the plastic portion of the wand is cracked near the cord connection, or the connections are blackened, they need replaced.
2. Wiring connection from hose handle to upper wand. Check for cracks and discoloration as in 1 above. Replace if necessary.
3. Hose connection to vacuum. Not likely, but possible.
4. There could very well be a break in the hose wiring.
You may need to take your vacuum, with hose and power nozzle, to an authorized Aerus Electrux service shop. They can try a new hoze to see if that's the problem. If there is a break in the wiring, the hose is probably worn in other areas as well, and should be replaced.

I can't figure out how to put the bag on.

I had a terrible time trying to install a bag, too! The hinged piece must be closed. Hook the cardboard backing on the opening and
line up the pieces sticking out on either side of the hinged piece with the openings in the cardboard on the back of the bag. It has two places where you're supposed to place your fingers and push until it pops. Neither my husband nor I could make it pop, so I just looked at the back of the hinged piece and saw a little clamp type thing cut out in the plastic. This has to hook onto the plastic piece that is connected to the vacuum cleaner. Just bend it out and hook it on, making sure that everything is lined up.

How do i put a new belt in kirby vacuum ultimate G

You'll want to rotate the front plastic piece 270 degrees until the red triangle on the plastic piece lines up with the red triangle on the top of the nozzle. Then, rotate the nozzle release (located under the headlight assembly) until the nozzle can pull free of the main vacuum body.

Rotate the front plastic piece back to its original position and flip the nozzle upside down. There will be two clips which will rotate to release the baseplate. After removing the baseplate you should be able to remove the brushroll and take the belt off.

Put the new belt onto the brushroll, and replace the brushroll in the nozzle, making sure that the colored dot on each bearing end is the same on both sides to ensure that the brushroll sits level. then rotate the plastic front cover again, watching to make sure that the hook inside grabs the belt and pulls it upward.

Replace the baseplate, then turn the nozzle back upright and replace it on the front of the vacuum by setting it onto the axle on the front of the machine and then tilting the top of the nozzle back into place and turning the nozzle release back to lock the nozzle into place.

Rotate the plastic front piece back to its original position, and your belt should be fully installed.
