Water in shark floor cleaner is not hot

The light is on, but no steam is appearing, finally stuck my finger in the tank and water was cold, body of shark tank was warm. Put a cake tester in the hole that releases steam, but nothing...it did this one other time and tried it again a week later and it worked, now today, same problem...

Sounds like some kind of bad connection to the heater in it. how about the receptacle to which you plug into the wall,. is it making good contact?
Best regards

My Shark just stopped cold in the middle of steaming the floor...got one good pass of the floor, and after water refill, bam. Stops..no steam, no "on" indicator light on body. No other problem except it...

It sounds like the heater core has popped a fuse. This model has a built in fuse to the heater and is hard wired in there. Unfortunately there is no way to fix this. This machine is made to basically throw a way in a couple of years.

Poor cleaning

Hi,

This type of problem usually is not he fault of the Shark Steam Mop.
The problem is the old residue left on the floors by other cleaners.

Here is a tip that I wrote that will help you out with that problem...
