The light is on, but no steam is appearing, finally stuck my finger in the tank and water was cold, body of shark tank was warm. Put a cake tester in the hole that releases steam, but nothing...it did this one other time and tried it again a week later and it worked, now today, same problem...
Sounds like some kind of bad connection to the heater in it. how about the receptacle to which you plug into the wall,. is it making good contact?

Thanks CK for your comments...wonder if Shark knows they have a big problem with their design...there is a lot of people complaining about the same problem...I have mine for about a year and kaput...

halleluja...contacted shark problem phone line...told me to add water and shake, then dump, do this 3 times ...with mop head off, plug in and wait 2-3 minutes and then pump 15-20 times....it's now working...spread the word...thank you...
