hi ,
I had same problem, just remove plastic trim ( the one with the switches to power on etc etc ) and you will see a micro dipswitch. It should have all 4 switches to 0, move switch 1 to position 1 power laptop and password should be removed. Turn laptop off move switch 1 back to posiotion 0 and replace the plastic trim. It worked for me on an ACer Aspire 3610.
good look

Looks like you'll need access to an authorized service provider.

When you start your computer, tap F2 key to enter the BIOS setup. In the security menu is the area for removing/resetting BIOS password.

reset the the bios..disconnect all the input mains power
supply..pick open the cmos battery..replace/resit it in again..
this'll hopefully break open bios/cmos password..
to enter in windows..after boot in shell/dos mode n before in windows/gui mode or before the Welcome Screen appears, press Ctrl+Alt+Del..classic logon will open..here in the User Name type: Administrator..press OK or hit Enter..u'll b logged in..
hv professional supervision of ur system admin or vendor....
When you boot up to the log in screen type in administrator as user to log in if you cant log in
during the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there also
The most common way that we know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing a battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased. Hope this helps
