Since A3 is twice the size of A4 I doubt it but... Does A3 size fit in the paper tray? If so you may be in luck but the original CD should have had the right driver, go to Lexmark site.
from where are u using the A3 paper .
if ur using the drawer then simply select the original size and copy size as per ur requirement and first change the tray paper size to A3 in operator settings.
if ur using by pass tray then be sure to pull the entire tray out as there is a sensor in the last end of the tray that senses A3 and legal paper
check to make sure on the display panel the paper tray is showing A3 PAPER SIZE>> the paper size indication should match up to what is in the trays if not the machine will be asking for A3. Also try putting in another tray to see if there is a fault with the paper tray .. if it works with other paper sizes it may just be the size hasnt been set properly for that tray.. Hope this helps A
H2 error code means that the paper size you are feeding into the machine does not match the paper size programmed into the machine. Minolta's are picky about these 2 size matching. So if you trying to print onto A3 then when you select the multipurpose tray it must read as A3.
Here is the info from the factory service manual:
H2 The length of the paper set does not
match that of the paper actually taken
up and fed in.
• Load paper of the correct size again
according to the set paper size.
• Turn OFF and ON the Power Switch.
• For copier tray: Slide out and in the
paper tray in which the size error has
occurred.
• For Manual Bypass Tray: Place paper
in the Manual Bypass Tray.
• For Multiple Bypass Tray: Unload
paper from the Multiple Bypass Tray,
then reload it back again.
you will ahve to set this in the print properties when you select print on the file option go to paper and select bypass if you are using this tray and original size will be A4 print size will have to be set to A3
A3 is a metric size paper. The document you are trying to print must have been formated for metric size paper. When you print select "Fit to printer margins" De-select "Choose paper source by PDF page size" and select the proper page size and source.
