How do I reset the phones? We had a personnel change and I am new at this system.

  • dusenbury_as Sep 12, 2011

One expert said to reset the system and I know that we didn't reset the system when it was previously changed. Any ideas on accomplishing changing the auto attendant greeting on the T7316

Hello, thanks for the response however, this is for the personal greeting for each telephone which I know how to do. I need to re-program the Auto Attendant message which is on the telephone and according to any instructions I find I must access this through the system administrator through AA and change it that way; however, it comes up that it is not allowed for me to access this information. Do you know the step by step directions on how to change this Auto Attendant Greeting on the T7316? Thanks,

I had received your response and e-mailed our reply on 9/13/11. Your response was for the personal greeting for each telephone which I know how to do. I need to re-program the Auto Attendant Message which is heard by callers and according to what little instructions I have I must access this through the system administrator through AA and change it that way; however, when I attempt to access AA the system will not allow it. Do you know the step by step directions on how to change this Auto Attendant Greeting on the T7316? Thanks,

Still trying to get step by step directions to change the Auto Attendant Greeting on the Nortel Norstar telephone system. Please note that this is for the Auto Attendant Greeting not the personal voice mail box on each telephone for each user.

Call routing programming for after hours. Currently the auto attendant answers and calls can be routed to on call technicians. I would like to reprogram the prompts with additional details but cannot figure oiut how.

Hello.

The Norstar M7324 is a common-model land-line phone, usuallyfound in professional work place environments. So, it's your first day at theoffice, and you just can't figure out how to record your voice-mail greeting onit. While understanding how to use some of the phone's functions might not bethat intuitive, simply follow the steps below and chances are, you'll neverhave to reference this twice.
1 Press the "Feature" button, or press the "CheckVoicemail" button.
2 Press the buttons "9, 8, 1."
3 Press the key associated with "ADMIN," whenthe term appears on the display screen.
4 Press the "GREET" key.
5 Press the "REC" key.
6 Press the "PRIME" key.
7 Press the "YES" key.
8 Record your greeting after you hear the tone.
9 Press the "OK" key to stop recording.
10 Press the "OK" key again to accept yourrecording. Thanks.
