if your ur blue-ray wont play the movies try this 1st before you waste ur cash......Check the 24 Hz setting in the BD/Blu-ray setting area. Some

Friend's PS3 had the same problem. His unit is no longer under Sony's
warranty so I've recently fixed his by buying a replacement laser lens
from Ebay. It roughly cost about 50-65 US dollars, depending on whether
you order the lens only or one with a deck; you will need to replace
the old one with the new one. However if your unit is till under Sony's
warranty, i suggest sending it back to them for repairs.
