here is a general look at the drivers and how to update them if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it click start control panel administrive tools ,computer management ,device manager look through all of your devices if you see a yellow question mark?or exclamation mark ! or red x right click to reinstall drivers or if you can see your usb but its not working ports(com&lpt)right click update driver hope this helps

the best video card depends on what you want to do with it. if you only plan to watch movies, it's no use of spending lots of money on a high-end graphics adapter. if you're more of a hardcore gamer, then the only thing i could say is this: look for a graphics card with as much video memory and as high a clock speed as possible. and try to avoid the brand MSI in combo with Abit system boards, since this may cause hardware conflicts and compatibility issues...

I think your J11 is for front or rear speaker outputs.
The mic should plug directly to the board with no problems

Alright, this sounds like the board was DOA (Dead on Arrival). Unfortunately it sounds like you will have to contact ASUS and request an RMA or a refund. This has been happening more often with ASUS products recently and is definitely a pain.

You might give their tech-support a shot, just to ensure that it's not DOA. However this seems to be the case and will require you to either get a refund or replace (RMA) the board.

Not necesarily all you need is a boot disc for your operating system which can be made made from your operating disc..on windows repair

The front audio panel will only work if connected to motherboard. Try
connecting to the audio panel in the back of the computer (directly
to the motherboard). If the rear panel audio plug (green) doesn't work
then the audio drivers that came with the motherboard might need to
be installed. Check your audio driver status with operating system.

If they use the wide ribbon cable, you need the cables with two connectors. Then set on drive to master and one to slave, or set both to CS - for cable select. When you restart the computer, the OS will do the rest.

Hi Klex, I was able to find the website address www.kdsusa.com through one of their products on Newegg, but the site appears to no longer exist. They also had a phone number listed (1-800-283-131) but that too doesn't seem to work. I have the feeling that they have either close their business or ended their operations in the U.S.. Sorry I didn't have better information for you.
