The engine won't go properly

Do you have voltage (3.5V) on the PSON terminal when you push the start button on the TV...if you don't its the main board that has failed

With the engine off, depress the brake pedal about 6 times, all the way up and down. While holding the hard pedal down, start the engine, and if the booster is working properly, the pedal will fade down a little bit.

You did not give a lot of info in this.

was the monitor old (many year) did it happen slowly or not.
is it even on all surfaced or darker on one side?

faded : no contrast or darker?

From the point vue I get, seem to be the neon lamp one maybe shot or not working a 100%

with year, the neon lamp loose brightnest. they even get yellow a little bit (if you compare a new monitor with an old one (white area) the old always fade in the yellow. )

the picture getting darker means the lamp has aged and u need to replace it another thing u need ti replace the mirrors in the light tunnel of the light engine they have faded secondly the noise means the colour wheel has aged you need to replace it u will have to replace the whole light engine cos the color wheel comes inbuilt the light engine and u will be ok ontact lg dealer in your area
