Check these things: is the engine run/stop switch pressed? is the bike in gear? is your safety switch always depressed?

My California Stone refuses to crank the starter. When pushing the starter button, ignition light dims slightly. Suspect a relay. Which relay is the starting relay?

sounds more like the starter has failed, dimming of the lights mean the power is there just the motor is locked up, could be the gearing in the motor has locked up, will need replacing or repairing. if the lights did not dim then the solenoid or relay would be at fault.

Goldwing won t start

Check for any blown fuses or relays, check the starter switch to make sure power is going into the switch and out to the starter solenoid, if there is power coming from the switch to the solenoid but the starter wont turn you will have to have the starter checked or replaced.

05 katana start button wont start bike but bike will push start

Well sounds like start button is not in contact or stuck, if you can open the 2 screws holding the switch box together on handle bar then do so, and make sure the contact spring pushes the button out and releasing the contact switch otherwise you'll burn your starter motor. Good enough?

My suzuki katana 750 will not start and there is a new charged battery in it. Why will it not start? The electric starter button does nothing, other than dim the lights. I checked the fuses and they seem...

It sounds like your battery is no good. have it load tested a good battery under a load shouldn't drop below 11 volts. if you starter button is only dimming the light it is a good guess that your getting power to the swtich and the starter motor but the battery dosen't have a juice to turn the motor.
good luck

2002 Suzuki GSX 600 F runs good when starts but now it wont start

Take a test light or multimeter and check if
power is getting to the starter each
time you push your starter button.

If so, the solenoid or starter relay is okay.

If not, then find the relay, it is at
the end of the battery positive wire.
It may be under the side cover or
under the seat.

Use your test light again and
see if power is on both sides
of the relays larger terminals when
you push your button (key on of course).
You should hear the solenoid or relay
click. It connects the positive
battery terminal to the starter
to make it run.

If it doesn't click or pass the power through
then check if power gets to it's
smaller wire when you push the button.
If not, could be the button, or
possibly something like a
bad side stand switch or engine
stop switch.

01SUZUKI KATANA GSX 600F Bad Starter/Relay Switch~that is the ?

If there is a clicking noise when you hit the starter button, then the relay should be fine.
If there is no sound, check the fuses before removing the starter.
