Error code 441 need to know how to fix &repair

Here is the definition for the code.
You may need a shop manual for the actual test procedures.

P0441 MITSUBISHI Description The vapor pressure sensor, Voltage Solenoide Valve (VSV) for EVAP, Voltage Solenoide Valve (VSV) for canister closed valve (CCV) and Valve Solenoide Valve (VSV) for pressure switching valve are used to detect abnormalities in the evaporative emission control system. The ECM decides whether there is an abnormality in the evaporative emission control system based on the vapor pressure sensor signal. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0441 is recorded by the ECM when there is a malfunction in either the VSV for EVAP, the VSV for pressure switching valve, or in the vapor pressure sensor itself, or when evaporative emissions leak from the components within the dotted line in Fig. 1 below.

The ECM closes the CCV and opens the VSV for pressure switching valve causing vacuum to increase in the entire EVAP system. The ECM continues to operate the VSV for EVAP until the vacuum is increased to a specified point at which time the ECM closes the VSV for EVAP. If the vacuum did not increase, or if the vacuum increased beyond the specified limit, the ECM judges the VSV for EVAP and related components to be faulty.

Circuit fault 2000 camry P0446

P0446, This is a EVAP code, check the gas cap is the seal torn?Do you tighten the gas cap properly,If there is a circuit problem this will reside in the CCV (canister closed valve),VSV (pressure switching valve),or a disconnected hose at the charcoal canister,if anything just replace the gas cap first, clear the code and go from there

2005 chevy malibu code p0466 how do I fix this

the EVAP canister is located under the car on the drivers side above the gas tank. that particular code could mean anything as far as the EVAP system goes. it could be anything to you overfilling your gas tank to your EVAP canister needing to be replaced to the small hose under the hood having a pin-sized hole in it. the most effective way to find the problem is to take it to an ASE certified shop or dealer and have them run a FULL scan of your system, if you havent already. about the only way to find a small leak is to have a mechanic run smoke though the EVAP system.

P0446- Evaporative Emissions Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:
- Missing Fuel cap
- Incorrect fuel filler cap used
- Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close
- Foreign matter caught in fuel filler cap
- Incorrect fuel tank vacuum relief valve

Code is detected when VSV for pressure switching valve is ON, ECM judges that there is no continuity between vapor pressure sensor, fuel tank and charcoal canister (2 trip detection logic)

Hello my 2000 toyota echo's check engine light is on and it is reading error codes po440,po441,po446 I was told it is something with the emissions what is the problem

It's probably the 02 sensor (technically dealing with the exhaust) which will make it fail emissions. I have been told it may also be a dirty mass air flow sensor, which is located in the same housing as the air filter box. I am having the same problems myself, and the car is hesitating and has no power.

OBDII CODE PO446. WHAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED

The vapor pressure sensor, VSV for canister closed valve (CCV), VSV for pressure switching valve are used
to detect abnormalities in the evaporative emission control system.
The ECM decides whether there is an abnormality in the evaporative emission control system by the vapor
pressure sensor signal.
DTCs P0441 and P0446 are recorded by the ECM when evaporative emissions leak from the components
when there is a malfunction anywhere in the VSV for EVAP, the VSV
for pressure switching valve, or in the vapor pressure sensor itself.

checked basic , gas cap.

More than likely you need to take to a garage , rec. dealership
will have to perform a smoke check to see if there is a leak somewhere or wether there is a malfunction with a vac. solinoid valve(vsv)

99 Camry, P0441 & P0446 codes

A. Diagnostics for PO441:

1. Remove Vacuum Hoses between EVAP VSV and Charcoal Canister and discard.
2. If there is a metal vapor pipe between EVAP VSV and Charcoal Canister, clean inside of vapor
pipe
3. Replace EVAP VSV and Charcoal Canister assembly with new parts.
4. Install new vacuum hoses between EVAP VSV and Charcoal Canister.

B. Diagnostics for P0446:

1. Inspect vacuum hoses and pipes between EVAP (Purge) VSV and Charcoal Canister for leaks.
2. Replace Vapor Pressure VSV and Canister.
NOTE :When performing diagnostics for an occurrence of a MIL "ON" condition, Diagnostic
Trouble Code (DTC) P0441 may be result of debris in Evaporative Emission Control System. This
may cause blockage of a vapor line, or a stuck VSV, as described in troubleshooting area of Repair
Manual.
