I am working on a 1998 Toyota 4-Runner. I changed

I am working on a 1998 Toyota 4-Runner. I changed the spark plugs then went to change the spark plug wires and realized that the Chilton Manuals diagram was not printed correctly. Can anyone tell me the correct plug to coil pack? I know cylinder 5 is connected to cylinder 2. Thanks!!!!!!

95 4 runner rough idle at start

Hi, 1994 4-runner hard-start after 3-4 hrs......All the above are good possibilities and should be checked.....I don't know what changing to E3 means exactly, but if it means changing the spark-plugs, it could be that the plugs are too cold or too hot ....it is probably best to stay with the factory recommended plugs ....some plugs are hot and some are cold ,in case you are not aware of it.......good luck with it....Frankie Don.

I changed the plugs and wires on a 97 toyota 4 runner. if i put the wrong plug into the wrong coil pack or opposite would that ruin them?

I am confused. Does it have a distributor cap, rotor and spark plug wires, or does it have coil packs sitting on top of spark plugs?

How do you fix a code#P0125 on a 1998 toyota 4 runner?insufficient coolent temp. for closed loop control?

first check radiator level if it is full and the heater is working good make sure temp gauge is functioning c orrectly it is most likely the coolant temp sensor but if this is a high milage vehicle and you have owned long time and never changed i would also replace thermostat and check plug to temp sensor forr good conections and good wires

When do spark plugs need to be changed on a 2007 toyota 4 runner?

Nowadays, I've seen spark plugs last 100,000 miles. The center electrode in a spark plug will wear down, causing a wider gap between the center electrode and side electrode. This wider gap causes harder starts, and if wear is too excessive, it will cause a no start. Hope this helps, Gary

Spark Plug Location for 1997 Toyota 4 Runner ?

Follow the plug wires to the location of the plugs. You will need swivel scokets or sometime called wobble sockets to get to where there located and long extentions, plus a lot of time!!!!
