SOURCE: my passenger side door locks or window wont work

I just went thru this with the drivers door. Windows wouldnt work, power mirrors, locks no matter if i used the key fob or the door switch. The inside light wouldnt come on when i opened the door. I did alot of research and found alot of people where having this problem but on the passenger side. I figured it was the door module but spent 50 bucks at the dealer to make sure. The dealer wanted some thing like 300 or so for the part. No junk yardaround Ct had any thing for an 03 chevy silverado. I found the part for 114 on oem, there are also place's like parts train and so on. That price included shipping to my house. Popped the ****** in and all my problems where solved. The part is called a door module, door switchs or maybe re something or other. good luck

SOURCE: Where is the door contact switch?

Hiya
Check all 4 doors to see what works and doesn't work, be sure the interior domelight switch is set to turn on automatically when any door is open as well try the radio then open the 4 doors to see if it turns off...if your driver's side door don't work as you stated then that should be the door's "at fault".

GM built the door contact switch that's installed INSIDE the door-it's located inside the door striker/jamb area...it require removal of door trim to gain access.

However, you might want to try this visual inspection:
Check the thick wire harness located between the front-left door and door sill frame to see if any wire has been disconnected/cut or tampered with by previous owner.

SOURCE: drivers side window switch not working on 2005

the drivers door switch is most likely bad, they get used the most and wear out first, the connector on the back of switch may have come loose and not making good electrical contact, remove switch and check connector and if still not working need new switch, the windows are all on same circuit and either all work or none work so not fuse. extremely rare is a short in wired but not likely.

Need to get a wiring diagram. Buy a book and follow the wiring schematic. It should help you out majorly. Can't really work on electrical issues without one.

2005 Dodge Durango passenger window wont go down from drivers side switch

It sounds like everything else and the wiring is okay, only that button on the driver's switch is not working. I would try a new switch, if you see nothing wrong with the electrical plug for it when you take it off.
If that down wire was broken somewhere from the driver switch to the passenger door, I don't think the driver's switch would work for it either way, up or down. And same, neither would the passenger switch work. I think the button for down is not making contact somehow, and right in the switch.

2004 saab arc driver side central lock not working

Check for a bad switch in the door.
Water leaking from the rag top-door seal joint often drains into the switch, causing a short or bad contact eventually.

VW Polo 2001 - Electric Windows wont open from Drivers side..

I removed all 3 switches from driver and passenger door, which is really easy with a flat head screw driver. took them completely apart, very carefully, with a small screwdriver out of a christmas cracker. put them back together again and 2 switches started working, so I put 1 in the drivers side and 1 in the passengers side so now my drivers door window opens and I lean over to open the passenger door. cool, no money spent...yet ;o)

Passenger window only works from drivers switch

If you have already replaced the passenger side switch and it still doesnt work its a good chance that there is a pinched wire in the door itself. However usually it wont work from the drivers side either. But I still suggest looking there first.
