Find out the manufacturer of your video card, then go to the support pages on internet of the manufacturer and search for Nvidia 8500 GT driver. Download the driver for your Operating System, Win 7 or 8, or 10 and install. Now try again.

remove all video drivers and restart the laptop .try work with generic driver, and check the laptop. after that go to nvidea web site and download the driver and install

Switch it off at the mains and try removing one dimm and test, then, if nothing has changed, remove that dimm and replace the one you removed first and test that one. If nothing changes excange the dimms places and try them in the other slot(s). If this procedure produces no joy obtain a known working dimm and , removing the other 2 try it in all dimm slots. Sorry, I should have said, before going through all this remove the motherboard battery and switch off all peripherals attached to your PC at the mains outlet. Leave it of for a good five minutes then replace battery and attempt the above procedure. I would approach the motherboard manufacturer for support if the memory testing produces no joy. You could attempt to test the modules in another motherboard and run MEMTEST . If they test good there must be a fault on the board or with another component. It is , as you must know a process of eliminating all possibilities. It might be helpful if you disconnected all cables from the board whilst you are testing, such as sata cables,etc. Good Luck

Not neccessarily. Depending on the power rating, your 350W PSU may not be strong enough to power this card. I would get a new PSU anyway. They are cheap nowadays and yours is very small. It will barely be enough to boot up the computer and its devices let alone a power hungry graphics card

Hi I presume that the installation of Win7Pro was an upgrade from a previous OS and that the graphics card was obtained before Win7 was available, as this would explain the lack of drivers for Win7Pro on the disk. first , you need to install the latest driver from AMD. Than put the screens cables in there places (HDMI , DVI , VGA ) better use HDMI and DVI , and than , if you are in windows 8 for exemple just press windows key + P , you will see a panal says 4 option , so make yours like Duplicate or extended , good luck

Hello Download the latest nVidia Drivers and Software for your Card, from their website. After that you will be able to set the resolution. Hope it helps.

Does both the port not giving you display did you check the memories is it all fine set also the power you have connected it properly try it in different machine check the PCIE Volts which slot is suitable for your Card on your motherboard. try the display cables and cooling all ok than i am afraid you need to send it to a workshop or you can fix if you know chip level work so there is An IC if fails or leak it does not give any out put so you need to change that.

NVIDIA.com/support/downloads/choose your OS and model of your GFX card .also there is auto detect option which will find the best driver for your device. Good Luck.

You must set up port in drivers and in windows analog for speakers and headset, or digital for hdmi to tv speakers

replace the fan with one from the other card. i would also advise repaste the gpu with antec 7 diamond paste. be sure to remove all dust. youtube have videos on this matter that will show you step by step. i hope this helps you out
