Why is my VTech 6.0 CS6124 go straight to voicemail on all incoming calls?

Hi, I found an online handbook manual for the VTech 6.) CS124. I noticed on Page 20 that you can set the number of rings on your answering system. Perhaps changing the number for incoming calls to a higher number might help. Here's the link to the manual. https://cdn-web.vtp-media.com/media/p/document2/products/%7BD1C79A59-7C89-415D-830F-D57B9ACB6F33%7D/CS6124_UM_2.pdf Hope this helps.

How to fix my phone, "no power or out of range" message is glitched on the LCD. I tried many solutions but none worked.

hold down the "find handset" button til it flashes, and then let go and press it again while it flashes. This will de-register the phone and you should get a new message saying the the handset isn't registered blah blah blah. Then put it back on the base until it beeps. This should fix your problem, unless the base itself is just dead.

How to use additional handsets with my VTECH DS6251-2.

Unfortunately, the old handsets may not be compatible with the new base. The DS6251-2 base only communicates with the DS6250 accessory handset. See the accessory list here: https://www.vtechphones.com/store/pd/4158/DS6251-2-2-Line-2-Handset-Cordless-Phone-with-Answering-System-Smart-Call-Blocker . If the old handsets have been deregistered from the previous base unit, place a handset in the cradle on the base. Wait to see if the handset is registered. Alternately, press and hold Page until you see Registering. Release the Page button. Then press Quiet/# (below 9) on the handset. Wait for the handset to be registered. To deregister handsets from the DS6251 base, press and hold Page. You'll see Registering Please Wait followed by Deregister all devices? At this point, release the Page button. Then press and release Page or the soft key for Yes. I hope this helps. These are shown in the manual for the accessory handset. The manual is on available on the accessory handset page: https://www.vtechphones.com/store/pd/4184/DS6250-2-Line-Accessory-Handset-for-DS6251-series-phones . The current link to the manual is https://cdn-web.vtp-media.com/products/DS/DS6250/DS6250_CIB_V2_20200623.pdf . Cindy Wells

How can I setup forward call to my cell from VTECH DS6251-2

Call forwarding is an add-on feature provided by your telephone company for a fee. Contact the phone company. The V-Tech DS6521-2 has the option of transferring a call between handsets, not to a cell phone. This uses the intercom feature to call another handset. See page 18 of the manual for more information. The manual for the phone is available on the product page: https://www.vtechphones.com/store/pd/4158/DS6251-2-2-Line-2-Handset-Cordless-Phone-with-Answering-System-Smart-Call-Blocker . Expand the Support and Manuals section. The link to the user guide is currently: https://cdn-web.vtp-media.com/products/DS/DS6251/DS6251-X_WEBCIB_V4_20200623.pdf . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

My vtech phone says line in use and the line is not in use. How do I fix?

I just fixed it by unplugging the main line for 20 seconds, then plugging it back in. I unplugged everything on that line - the wall jack seemed to work where the power wires didn't seem to matter. Hopefully it doesn't go out again.

Sign on one vtech CS6428-3 handsets shows battery full charge< the very moment you start using it it shows complete discharge and actually the handset stops working. 2 other handsets work as required.

How old is the handset? Batteries last from 2 - 4 years and then can't retain a charge. In most wireless handsets the batteries are easily replaceable. Yours has a NiMH battery pack with a pigtail lead coming from it, google your model number + Battery for replacements

My vtech phone model : CS5109 says "line in use", no one is using the phone and no phones are accidently turned on. How do I fix this.

Unplug all phones. Take one traditional 'plug in' phone and connected to the main incoming socket, usually the one closest to the door or fuse box. Does it work? No, phone the telco. Yes, start plugging additional phones in one at a time, testing them as you go.

Vtech dect 6.0 model cs6124 do not disturb is on

The VTech CS6124 does not have a DND feature. The ringer volume could be set to Off. For the handset(s), press Menu (the big round button below the LCD screen) on a handset when the phone system is idle (no handsets in use). Use the arrow keys (CID/Vol- and Phone Book/Vol+) to navigate to Ringers and press Select (same as the Menu button) twice. Press the Vol+ to increase the volume. You will hear the current ringer volume. Repeat pressing Vol+ until you reach a volume that you prefer. Press Select to save the setting and then press Off to exit the menu system. To adjust the ringer volume at the base, press the Up/Down buttons when the phone system is idle. The manuals are available from VTech's product support page: https://www.vtechphones.com/support/technical-support/product/1516 . The full manual is currently available here: https://cdn-web.vtp-media.com/products/CS/CS6124/CS6124-X_WEBCIB_V7_20190916.pdf . See pages 16-17 (page 23-24 of the PDF). I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

After charging battery, the phone dial reads, out of range,or no pwr at base

Double check that the power cable is _fully_ plugged into the phone base, then check to see that power cable is fully plugged into wall outlet; and/or fully plugged into phone wall outlet. (Some base units have no power adapter and get their power from the phone outlet on the wall). In short, double check _all_ wired connections. Do not assume they are fully plugged in.
