check all fuses and relays does the light on the dash come on and is the switch ok or unplugged as well you have a electric motor on the transfer case if its unplugged or burnt it wont engage it looks like a wiper motor at the end of the transmission

Either the new battery does not have a full charge in it or the security system and engine immobilizer needs resetting. If battery voltage drops below 11 volts, there isn't enough power to operate the fuel injectors.
