I don't personally know this model, but all my remote access units have had a key slotted into them so I've not had this problem. Your vehicle handbook may well contain the info you need to get into the car - but of course, it's locked into the car!! I suggest that you search online on the kia site first of all. You may then have to widen the search depending on your results. Just had a thought, replace the battery in the remote access unit. This should sort it (unless of course you have to drive the car to go and get a new battery. - this is Murphy's third law, which states that whatever you need fixing can only be done by using the thing that needs fixing!!). Sorry about that, I wasn't having a go at you. It just struck me as ridiculous and therefore quite likely.

You could be just low on freon. If not check for power on wires at front of compressor. If you have power then you will have a bad field coil . Have put a few on for this.

The manifold is bolted to the head. The plugs are screwed into the head. Remove the plug wire cover from top center of the manifold and you can see the plugs below
