Hi I live in NZ

Don,

We would recommend that you replace the transducer (if you want to keep the transducer inside the hull you may use the
XP 9 20 T with temperature and you can use epoxy to mount the transducer) If you want to keep in the compartment you have created you may want to just put water in the compartment with the transducer so its not shooting through the air.

If you have any other questions please email customer service at [email protected]

Thank you,
Deborah

I just installed a 595c gps on my boat. I used it

If you know of someone else that has the same setup on there boat you can slide your unit on there mounting system and see what you get. This will tell you if it is the unit or the transducer. I would check my voltage to make sure you have 12 volts at the end of your power cable. If you do not know of anyone with the same setup you can contact our Customer Group and they will be glad to help you out. There number is 800-633-1468.

Thanks

I getting ready to order

It does come with everything in the box you need to rig your boat. If you are going to rig it on a fiberglass boat I would mount the Side Imaging transducer right under the jackplate and make sure you can see from side to side without anything blocking it on either side of the transducer. Then I would epoxy a transducer (XP 9 20) in the hull of the for high speed readings and then use a Y cable (AS SIDB Y) to tie the 2 transducer together.

Hi there . when i put my longs and lats in to

I have not heard of this problem before. I would suggest updating your software on the unit. I would also make sure that lat and long format is the same as what you are trying to input into the unit. You can change the format under the setup tab in the menu to match the number that your trying to input in the unit. To update the software in the unit you can go to Humminbird.com and register your unit and create an account. You will have to have the unit type and the serial number to do this. This is free of charge.

My Humminbird 788 ci screen clutters up and gives

One thing you might try is restoring the defaults in your unit. One other thing is go into the menu under the sonar tab and adjust your Noise Filter. You may have some type of interference going on. You can call our customer service department and they will trouble shoot it for you. Our number is 800-633-1468.

Hello,

I will advice you reset your device, to do this, follow this steps, from any view press the MENU button twice to access the tabbed Main Menu System then press the RIGHT cursor key until the Setup tab is selected. Press the DOWN cursor until Restore Defaults is highlighted on the Setup menu. Use the RIGHT 4-way cursor control key to initiate restoring defaults. The Confirm dialog box will appear. My Matrix X25 used to

My unit, a 365i combo, uses the same transducer, I experienced the exact same problem last week, my unit is still under warranty, I sent the unit for repair and just got confirmation that my transducer went bad. The bad news is that the transducer is back order and has been for many weeks, this is an indication of probably a weak design. I have read similar reports on other forums.

Good luck

My 67 GPS will not

there is a problem with the touch screen would be the reasonable assumption here, as far as repair goes they don't provide repair manuals or parts to repair this GPS to the public, u must send it in for repair to an approved repair facility.

My 1197 side imager doesnt show

Hi,its so unfortunate that you can't get a screen by screen tutorial because its not available anywhere, the best solution you can get is to go through the manual of your device carefully,if that doesn't work,it means you have to visit the place of purchase of the device or to contact the humming bird customer care line.

Thanks and take care
