One thing you might try is restoring the defaults in your unit. One other thing is go into the menu under the sonar tab and adjust your Noise Filter. You may have some type of interference going on. If your depth is off because of where your transducer is located, calibration can be done through the menu by adding or subtracting a foot or two. In your never to be read manual are all the instructions necessary. If you are off by more than a foot or 2, chances are your transducer is bad.
