You would have to mail it to them for repair as they do not release parts to anyone. I believe their number is 1-800 for time

On most watches you pull the button out a little for moving the hands and some further for date setting. Hands are to be turned in clockwise direction and therefor, before setting the time up to the minute, be sure the date does not turn over at midday. Quartz watches may have two small recessed buttons on the side.

t sounds like the digital display of your watch stopped working after a watchmaker replaced the normal battery and accidentally cut the cable connected to the rechargeable battery. To address this issue, you may need to take the following steps:
Return to the Watchmaker: First, I would recommend returning to the watchmaker who performed the battery replacement and inform them about the issue. They should take responsibility for any damage caused during the battery replacement and rectify the problem.
Check Warranty: If your watch is under warranty, contact the manufacturer or authorized service center to have the issue resolved. Cutting the cable during a battery replacement should not happen with a professional service and might be covered under warranty.
Request a Repair or Replacement: If neither of the above options is viable, you may need to seek a watch repair specialist or a technician who can examine the watch's internal components and assess the damage. They can either repair the cut cable or replace the damaged digital mechanism.
Be Prepared for Costs: Depending on the extent of the damage and the watch's value, repairing or replacing the digital mechanism may come with associated costs. Be sure to ask for an estimate before proceeding with any repairs.
It's essential to keep all communication and records related to the battery replacement and subsequent damage to ensure a smooth resolution of the issue. Ultimately, it's the responsibility of the watchmaker to address and rectify any damage that occurred during the battery replacement process.
