Check if your battery door is perfectly aligned and has no gaps if it has a gap then you have to push or tape it to line perfectly without any gaps and if the door perfect and still showing same thing you have change batteries make sure to use either Duracell or rechargeable 2.5v batteries

i kindly advice you restart the camera ,it may fix the problem,.Also ensure on the camera's buttons or around the scroll wheel there is no dust .If it persist try to reset factory the camera

May be settings are changed. But first check that LEDs mounted with camera are working or not ? If those LEDs are not working then it is possible cause.

In general Compact Flash Cards have to be formatted within the camera that is using them as they use a format proprietary to that camera. Also there are size limits on cards.
