I want to use my SAMSUNG GT-S5350 mobile as a modem to access internet in WINDOWS 7. I have already downloaded and installed Samsung PC studio for win 7 and tried to connect as a modem but its not working. I have downloaded it form "Windows 7 downloads.com"...Shall I need to download it from anywhere else?... plz guide me....

Just follow my simple steps happily--------



Operations to be done in Samsung mobile:
1- Go to MENU > SETTINGS > APPLICATION SETTINGS > BROWSER PROFILE > create > write BSNL 3G in place of connection o1 > write bsnlnet in access name > save it and set it as default.




Operations to be done in computer:
1- Join your mobile with your computer and run pc studio.
2- Click on widgets in pc studio and don?t touch your mobile as it may be angry.
3- Click on internet connection
4- Click on add and complete following requirements
connection name..................... BSNL 3G
COUNTRY.............................. other
Network provider........................ other
APN name.......................... bsnlnet
Phone no........................ *99**1*1#
5- Click ok.
6- Click yes.

Before connect you Corby to PC you must install Samsung PC Studio in your PC. You can download PC Studio and User Manual from here :

Click at software, then click at download icon.
After finishing download, install the driver. If the installation complete, you can connect your phone via USB cable data.

Samsung PC Suite - Internet through mobile modem -Error 619 - Data Cable

Rectifying the error

1. Samsung USB modem driver (Download from Samsung ' Local Link)

2. Connect Your Samsung with a working Internet connection ( via )USB Cable
3. Samsung PC Studio or any other Samsung mobile drivers are not installed

Procedure

1. Connect your Samsung Star 3G to your PC and install the modem drivers that you have downloaded.

2. Goto Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options


3. Select the Modems tab. You will see Samsung mobile modem listed.

4. Select it and click on Properties.

5. Goto the Advanced tab and put the following in the box for Extra Initialization Commands:

+cgdcont=1,"IP","your_apn_name"

( or tye AT+CGDCONT=1, "IP', "apnname")

eg:- +cgdcont=1, "IP", "bsnlnet"

6. Hit OK and exit.

The next step is to create a dialler for your Samsung Star 3G mobile modem.

Error 619 solved

1. To create a dialler, Goto Control Panel>Network Connections

2. Hit Create a New Connection and proceed as follows (each sub-point is for each screen of the wizard):

2.1 Network Connection Type: Connect to the Internet
2.2 How do you want to connect to the Internet: Set up my connection manually
2.3 Select Connect using a dial-up modem
2.4 Select Modem-Samsung Mobile Modem
2.5 Type an ISP name according to your preference (could be anything)
2.6 Type*99# as the phone number ( or type *99*1*1# or *99***1# )
2.7 Leave Username, Password and Confirm Password fields blank
2.8 Hit Finish

That would complete the wizard and make a dial-up connection for you. Dial it and you will be connected to the Internet via your Samsung Star 3G phone modem without using Samsung PC Studio

you need to download samsung kies software.. and install it. then automatically the required drivers will also be installed.. then follow the instructions as below..
NOTE: following instructions are for tata docomo internet. names may vary depending on your mobile network.

you just connect with bluetooth or data cable and find out the modem then u goto control panel ->phone and modem option then dialing rules tab ->new -> country/religion fill India and area codeand then ok. and then goto same dialog box in modem tab n select modem click ->properties and then advance tab n fill in extra initialization commands: AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET" and then ok.
goto control panel ->network connection ->create a new connection ->new connection wizard next ->choose connect to the internet ->next ->choose setup connection manually ->choose connect using to dial-up modem ->next ->isp name -tata ->next ->phone number- *99# ->next ->next ->finish
then you a dialing tata icon in the desktop and you r connect internet in your pc
