Kenmore side by side - model - 253.54739304. we moved it from one house to another. it was working fine. now won't freeze or cool properly. like it is in defrost mode. compressor was not running so I have unplugged it. any ideas?

If while moving it , you laid it on its side, it collected air in the lines, having it unplugged is a good idea, normally 24 hours is enough for the air to settle,, try it again after that time,

Fridge won't cool but freezer working fine

Its defrost problem, the freezer should cool, then freeze, then defrost cycle should start. In your case freezer is cooling, then freezing, but its not defrosting. That's why fridge section is not cooling.-------

My kenmore fridge model 56723 is not cooling that is the fridge side. the fan is spinning very well but the compressor is very hot. funny enough the freezer appears to be cooling okay

I have a GSL25JFPA BS that the frig side will not cool properly. Repalced the mother board. t stat in freezer and thermistor in frig. Freezer works fine. Damper will open when first plugged in but closes...

Unplug the refrigerator and then plug back in. Using multimeter check between J3-1 and J3-4.
Must be done within 10 seconds of starting. You should have 6 VDC. If you do replace damper, if not replace motherboard.

Amana side by side refrigerator wont cool properly after moving from one house to another

have a two year old side by side amana frig. the freezer side works fine, the frig is at 56 degrees at coldest setitng. HELP, can't get repair guy for five days cause we live in rural area.

Model #10657058791 freezer and fridge not cooling

Check your connections in the back make sure no wires are lose or rattled lose off of the compressor or anything like that
