I have a Sony Videoscape KP 53S65 that will not come on. There is no sound or picture. When you push the power button, the timer/standby light blinks continually. Any suggestions?

Hello,

You need to check the output voltages of the power supply to see which one goes off. It may be due to short circuits some where.If otherwise, Power supply board just die.It can be dead at anytimes.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

On the pcb labeled (G) board look for location RY602
the replacment sony part number is # 1-755-018-11
this is the repair for stand by light blinking.

Thi is the repair for Power light blinging.
Q601, Q602 parts number(2sc4843)
r606 0.1ohm 1/2w also replace c604 and c605.
