NEED TO FIND A KNOB TO HOLD BLADE - Rival 1050C Electric Slicer

Push the right knob on the dash until you get a small group of japanese characters in the middle of the screen. Hold the knob in. you will get a screen with three GROUPS of characters. Pushing the knob hoghlights them in turn. The first group - top left- is the clock. Hold on this when it highlights and the clock comes up flashing. Alter the hour and the minutes when they highlight by pushing the knob. When time is correct wait until flashing stops. screen returns to display.

you need to lift up on the knob to loosen the spindle and remove/install the blade. To install the blade you might need to turn it some and push up and when it is straight then you need to turn the knob while holding up on it till it is snug and then push the knob down.

To remove a blade on this saw, lift the knob on the top of the saw and rotate the knob counterclockwise. This will open the blade clamp. The blade should slide out. To install a blade, slide a blade in, being sure the back of the blade fit against the support roller. Clamp the blade in place by turning the knob on top of the saw clockwise until you hear a clicking sound, then push the knob down.

First unplug tool and lift up on the knob and loosen the spindle lock, insert blade and push up slightly while doing so and twist to align blade with the roller, while lifting up tighten the knob until you hear it click and the blade should be tight and stay in place. UNPLUG TOOL. To remove the blade, lift the knob on the top of the jig saw approximately 1/4".

Rotate the knob counterclockwise until the clamp is open (Figure 8a). Do not force the knob once

it stops. Insert the blade as shown. Make sure the back edge of the blade fits into the support roller.

Tighten clamp by turning top knob clockwise until you hear a click. Push knob down.
For "T" shank blades, insert blade to the shoulder of the shank.

1. Lift the black handle/knob approximately ¼”.
2. Turn the handle/knob counterclockwise 5-7 full turns until blade chuck is completely open, keep the black knob pulled up as you turn it.
3. Insert “T” shank or universal jigsaw blades into the chuck making certain that the back edge of the blade fits into the support roller. Please note that when using “T” shank blades, insert the blade to the shoulder of the shank.
4. With the knob/handle still in the up position, turn the handle/knob clockwise until the knob starts to ratchet.
5. Push the handle/knob down. The blade is completely installed at this point.

pull up knob on top at front turn anti clockwise three times turn blade 90 deg remove blade insert new blade turn 90 deg turn knob on top clock wise untill clicks press knob back down you are ready to go

Make sure that the blades are being held firmly together. I have seen the knob used to lower the moving blade come loose and releases much of the pressure intended to hold the blades together.  If so, the set screws on knob have come loose.

there are two type of removing the blade of electric fan,one is there is a center knob with mark arrow loosen and tight direction at the center holding fan blade, this to lock fan blade on its shafting. to remove fan blade.loosen holder knob on clockwise direction while holding the fan blade,to release the knob check the arrow on the knob. after loosening knob pull out blade from the shafting.

the other type the fan blade has lock in bolt at the back side of the fan blade bolt in on the shafting of the fan, you need here a tools such as set of socket wrench small one to loosen the bolt
after loosening lock in bolt, pull out fan blade.
