Hi:

Sound like you have a faulty start cartridge, probably you used the torch handle to bang a metal part to make it fall. This is a common problem when using the gun as a hammer. Just replace the start cartridge. Before changing it; check the cartridge's lower end, this must move freely up and down.. If you did replace the cartridge already then probably your output power pc board it's damaged.

Regards,

Hi; Check the following troubleshoot and see if you can ID the problem:
Problem: Gas flows continuously when power is turned on, AC indicator flashes 1. Torch switch is activated (closed) before user turns power on. a. Release torch switch. 2. Faulty torch switch a. Check torch switch for continuity. Replace if necessary.
Problem: Gas flows continuously; Torch will not pilot when torch switch is activated; AC indicator ON 1. System is in SET mode a. Change to RUN / Rapid Auto Restart / SET switch to RUN (up).
Mostly of the problems found is that customer has the switch line on to SET instead of RUN.
Hope this help. Have a good afternoon.

The exclamation point, the red dot, keeps popping up and it is also red on 85-5.9 and only air is blowing out

Try and replace the swirl ring. We had the same problem and it fixed it. They cost around 35 bucks

Plasma cutter problem - is cutting on beveled angle.

worked on units for several years,my first thought was torch consumables, then torch itself,so here we go.make sure all the consumables are exact for the torch, make sure all parts are brand new,(all parts, that way we can elimenate that part of trouble shooting).check that the ground is tight on the unit and work peice. When you bought the new torch head did you also buy the lead to the head?If not possible that could be the problem.

Thermal dynamics cutmaster 50 2004 yr.

Check contacts in tip and be sure it is all lubed correctly. If you have good air pressure and flow it should arc after pulling the trigger for about 2-3 seconds.
