Nuvi 350 does not hold a battery charge.I see no way to change battery and the owner manual does not say how.

Connect your Nuvi 350 to computer with USB and look in Garmin folder for owners manual. It should be in the Nuvi's internal memory in PDF format.

Other: Go to www.garmin.com/products/nuvi and click Manuals link to download to computer.

I solved the problem by charging internal battery using the 120V. charger that came with the unit. I was not aware, that the cord in car was not charging my Nuvi and that it was running OK. until the battery was low and quit. I have to check this cord. Peter W.

Press the Power button on the top right corner of the case.
If unit will not power on, battery may be dead. Try connecting car charger or power adapter to unit.
To charge battery faster, leave unit connected to power adapter or car cord. Press and hold Power button to turn unit off. Screen will show "Going into charge mode."

The internal batteries are not user replaceable. Please don't try to do this yourself. I've received numerous emails from people who have destroyed the Nuvi attempting to do this. I have replaced numerous Nuvi batteries. The life of the battery depends on how many cycles its gone through.

I can't do it for you, but I have done it myself. See the instructions on my webpage at www.dacust.com/nuvi350/index.html. Pictures and everything, along with where I got my battery and the part number, etc. Warning, there are many opportunities to damage your unit doing this. Not for the novice.

I guess it should be fully green, it takes several hours, and you wont kill it if you let it charge overnight.

You'll need to open the case and replace the battery. Batteries can be purchased online here or a couple other places on the web by searching for "nuvi 360 replacement battery". I'd get the 1400mah or greater for a replacement, it'll burn a little longer than the weaker models. If the unit operates when plugged into the charger, then the fuse and cable are good. Open the case by removing the retaining screws, then carefully prying the unit apart. The new battery simply plugs into the connector after removing the old one.
