I want to download pics from my Samsung Omnia pro 7330. I have a data cable connected to my laptop but i do not see my laptop sensing the mobile phone. How do i download the pics? I have a nokia too. and its very easy for me to get pics from the phone.

* check your USB cable if its working properly

* Check the package/box of your mobile if there's a CD in it.if there is,insert it and install the CD so the drivers will be installed in your computer and to be able to recognized your phone...

If you don't have the CD with you.

Go to settings of your phone then choose USB data connection. Then choose Mass Storage. Don't click the PC Suite because it will took longer time to upload photos from your phone

HI,
Try changing the data cable and make sure the usb port of your laptop is not faulty.Sometimes you will need a special software which accompany the Samsung Omnia.They are usually on CD's in the phone pack.Check and install if any.

    I tried this but the setting falls back to active sync. I do not have a MSA storage card on my samsung mobile. so it does not accept the setting i do as you said.

Are you on WiFi or 3G (EDGE maybe?) when this problem occurs. On some occasions, YouTube requires you to have a strong internet connection in order for you to watch videos. This is a restriction YouTube has for your own good. Buffering a video with a bad connection will take ages.

Hello, Missy.

I think back years ago for what I paid for full landline phone service, dial-up for Internet, limited cell service and cable service.

Even though it feels like a lot of $$$, these days, I am getting so much more for my $$$ (not to say that it's inexpensive).

I have Verizon service, also and have the "works" with my Blackberry, including data and VZNavigator. But, I have dropped my landline service (really don't need it anymore) and do have cable service (I use Comcast) and Verizon DSL.

Altogether, I think I'm paying about the same as years ago with higher technology, portability and convenience.

My advice to you is this: really evaluate what you need, rather than what you want. Compare providers side by side with your needs in mind.

connect ur phone to laptop using USB cable. it must have packed with the mobile set u purchased. if not purchase it. after connecting select data mode. or else u can connect via bluetooth. but the tranffer rate will be a bit slower.
