    Hi Budmrtn,
Thanks for the various Websites, and where I can download the Service manual. This is a great help.
Iv had my HP L2035 5yrs 8 months, and about a year ago the picture suddenly faded and then produced a large number of vertical coloured bars of various widths that change now and then. After a few minutes the picture sometimes came back, but would then fade away again.
If I turned it off for a few minutes from the mains, and then tured it back on it would be normal, and would work for a good few days before it would happen again.
This went on for a week before it eventually carried on working for the next 6 months.
On the 22/05/11 the whole picture suddenly went into vertical coloured bars, chaning now and then within a 10 second period, and finally ending up as a 3 inch wide vertical white bar on the right hand side of the screen getting brighter in time. With no Input,If you press the input button, the vertical bar moves to the center.
    Any suggestions.

    THANKS,

    Paul J Davies.

That is the symptom of failing T-CON board or you have loose ribbon cable that is attached to the LCD panel, you can try reseting it first.
