My Haier dehumidifer runs but doesn't collect any water. I have another exact same dehumidifier sitting 10 feet away and it fills up about every 24 to 36 hours so I know the conditions are that it should bring in mosture. I have switched buckets and know it doesn't have anything to do with the bucket. I have checked the filter and it is clear. I am so disappointed as I had only had it a couple months when it quit collecting water. Interesting, that a co-worker bought the same appliance about the same time and hers doesn't collect moisture either. I bought this on for my daughter and if I had known it quit working sooner I would have taken it back but at this point I won't buy another of this brand since both quit working within a couple months. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Sounds like you're in a wintery environment. Most people operate a humidifier in those locations because the air is too dry. If that is your situation, I suggest you turn the dehumidifier off until Summer and save electricity. If will pull moisture out of the air in the summer.

hello. If your dehumidifier doesn't seem to run often but the humidity in the room is high, try adjusting the humidistat control on the dehumidifier to a dryer setting. If the dehumidifier seems to run constantly, but there's little or no water in the container, there may be a problem in the refrigeration system. Try cleaning the unit. If that doesn't work, you can't repair the refrigeration system yourself, you need a qualified appliance repair technician to do that.
