The charge adapter maybe faulty.
If your cell phone is a few months old, then it would be still under warranty. Take it back to the place where you purchased it and have it repaired or replaced under warranty.

Does your ASUS power on? If it does then your computer power supply is good, and if you computer doesn't boot but you can hear power going to the power supply, then your video card has died and a replacement for your video card is due. The "ticking" noise could be your video card cooling off. But your question was a bit vague, I could not tell if your issue was a power issue with your computer or a monitor problem.

no there is no such thing as display driver.
the monitor is bad, if the buttons are dead.
my guess is one button is stuck on,.
that monitor can plug in to any PC made with no drivers at all.
special.
only resolution matters, set that to.
1280 x 1024 at 75 Hz (60 to 75Hz)
test the monitor on 2 PC, if its bad its bad. end story.
surely you have access to 2 PC, the bad PC and one known to be good. and DO not set resolution above the above.
or it will fail. its old.
it is now 16 years old
time to upgrade no?

most if not all 16 year old monitors the CCFL black lamps
died 10 years ago, my guess is yours sat parked for 10 long years
never run all day ?

Worked fine last night, discovered it this morning still turned on but no signal to monitor. Rebooted and it began a consistent beeping with no signal to monitor. Unplugged several times to no avail....

the beeping is coming from the cpu.

1 unplug pc
2 pull out ram chips
3 use an eraser to clean the gold, yes thats gold

what happens is the gold on the ram oxidizes and does not connect properly and can go bad but cleaning it with an eraser sometimes works. take a cpu that is working unplu it pull the ram and you will see the same thing your other pc is doing.

4 reinstall ram (correctly)
5 boot up cpu
6 please vote.

My computer will turn on but my monitor does not get a signal and I've tried this on two working monitors and two different power chords. The lights on the keyboards don't even work. Any solution?

I was just dealing with this last night. My pc would come on, but I kept getting a "No Signal" message on my monitor. I first plugged the machine into a known working monitor. It worked fine so that eliminated the video card issue. Then I plugged the monitor into a different computer...it too worked. So I knew that the monitor was good. I then switched the cord from the faulty monitor and still didn't get a signal. I proceeded investigating the issue. I found that if you boot the machine in safe mode, it actually caught a signal. So...I figured it must be something to do with the resolution. My solution: Boot the machine in safe mode, change the resolution in the control panel and reboot the machine. If it doesnt catch the signal booting in safe mode, I suspect it is a faulty video card. You are likely to find what you are looking for online at zipzoomfly.com or newegg.com

Power light blinks but the screen is black and won't come on.

is it an LCD monitor?
if so then it's more than likely the backlight tubes or the backlight tubes inverter supply has died is it fixable but i am not sure how much it will cost you at your local repairer and monitors are so cheap these days its probably not worth it!
hope this helps,ben

Says no signal on monitor.

The monitor is telling you that it is functioning properly (it works). It is also saying that it isn't receiving and signal from a computer. This can happen when-
** computer is turned off but monitor is on (this can occur, for example, when the computer's power supply dies while turned on). That happened to me just a couple of days ago.)

** monitor cable to computer has come loose or totally disconnected
