Diagram not needed, check the thermo fuse and sensor, they all connect to the chill plates and easly removed (round object 1.5cm with 2 wires to it.) and you may also see a 10mm clear tube with a sensor in it, this one will have a wire at each end, if you can, replace both, it will save you grief from only doing one and find ?????? you know what I mean. These sensors tell the fan to start at a preset temp, Sounds hard but I am pretty sure this is the issue and very easy to do.
Hope you have some success with this, dont forget to vote, I did this for free. Regards Russ

Many times a freezer and/or refrigeratordo not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many otherthings that can go wrong.
If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing thencheck out the last two tips.
If your refrigerator is running but warm, then...
Check out these tips that I wrote about that... it is a great place to starttrouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then callinga repair person to do a simple thing for you...
If your chest freezer is less than 50 years old, it does not have a fan. Cooling coils contact inner walls of freezer compartment, warm coils dissipate heat through outside walls of freezer. If compressor runs, temp is 30+ degrees, gasket is OK, lid not left open, then you have one of two contions: 1. Low capacity compressor 2. Refrigerant leak. Solution to either is to replace freezer. (My opinion: Don't get a Kenmore brand, which generally ties you into poor warranty and slow and poor service.) No matter what brand name is on the freezer, it is most likely manufactured by Electrolux (in St. Cloud, MN) or Haier (from China). Look at the model / serial number plate before purchase to see where it was manufactured. Yes, the USA manufactured ones are better. (and I'm not just saying that because the plant is less than 15 miles from where I am sitting right now)
Is the freezer fan working ? If not , pt # 4357004 . If it is working , then compressor is bad . One of the internal valves are bad . Non repairable unless compressor is replaced (too much money ) .
Is the compressor running the whole time? If so may have a problem with a refridgerant leak....check the compressor in the rear of unit, feel if its hot....may be as simple as a relay.
you should def have a 5 year warr on your compressor( all your sealed system parts) , youll need a factory authorized company, to come ck out so if it is a sealed system repair they will honor y our warr. dont know how it works where you are but, theres got to be 12 companies just in my area willing to do that
If you want a manual defrost model they are all almost the same.
Manuel defrost is very simple, just compressor and thermostat. No fans or defrost system. The true indication of quality is the energy star rating. Look at the operating cost. The better made ones cost less to operate. Just shop by price and features you want. High temp warning, rapid freeze etc. Normally I would stay clear of the White/Westinghouse garbage(Gibson,Kelvinator, Frigidaire, etc.) in washers and dryers but in refrigeration they aren't too bad. It is really hard to tell anymore who actually makes what. They all seem to be buying each other out. GE sold out and doesn't make their own anymore, Whirlpool bought out Maytag, Jenn air, and Amana. Kenmore/Sears is mostly made by Whirlpool. I have trouble telling things apart anymore.
