Make sure the router is set to "gateway" mode and not "router" mode.

u can romove ur current 4got password by going through the pc safe mode by pressing F8 key again & again until safe mode option is not seen on ur pc screen.It only works at the starting of ur booting process i mean at the starting of ur pc.
then go to the cntrl panel through admin account & remove the current password.OK

If u connect through then check for ur wireless signal.If u connect broadband connection then u check for baudrate.
If u get same problem then Update ur Internet explorer or Reinstall ur operating system.
