I am having issues hooking up a D-VR600KU to a dish network box. It asks for a manufacturers code and this is not in the manual. Does anyone have a solution to this issue? It is currently connected to both the television and the dish network box.

We would be happy to help. We currently do not have any codes specifically for your Toshiba D-VR600, we would recommend performing a power scan. If there is a code that is compatible with your TV the power scan will find it.

Power scan instructions:

Step 1:
Press and hold the TV mode button until all mode button back lights illuminate, then release.

Step 2:
Press and release the Power button.

Step 3:
Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.

Step 4:
Press the pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.

After doing the power scan please remember to put the remote back into SAT mode. Thanks so much for being a valued DISH Network customer!
