Laptop Wireless Connection Problem

There is a possibility that there is a fault with the drivers, you may want to contact your local Acer office as the site drivers are not always the correct one, other than being able to look at it personally you may also want to a good local repair/service centre to test the lan and the wifi card, good luck.

If your using wireless, make sure your wireless adapter is on. Look on the F1, F2, F3, (etc.) keys. Find a little icon that looks like a cell tower. Press FN and that key and your wireless adapter will be activated and you should be able to connect to wifi. Other advice, make sure your LAN is active, too. I'm not specifically sure how to do this, it depends on the operating system, and I just plainly don't know. Anyway, if none of this works, go to Acer's website and download the Wireless LAN drivers. Try resetting the network adapter.

On the bottom right hand side of the desktop you will see the wireless icon, right click on that ans click on troubleshoot problems. This will reset the adapter and assign an IP address for your your PC.

When its done try to connect to the internet.

goto acer.com goto support thendrivers and downloads select model and make and it will give you a list of all drivers for your laptop

you can't partially wipe your system
do you want to format
open control panel network connections see if network shows then right click then enable if you don't see enable then click repair
check devices see if your wireless still shows maybe needs updated
