Attempted to download Firefox 3 to my Vista Premium. Would not load (missing .dll). After the above attempt can not click on any links contained in emails. Get "xml parsing error: undefined entry" each time. Deleted Firefox program but still have the error message each time click on link.

icuuc52.dll is the dynamic link library "International Components for Unicode", which is part of the ICU Project. It's a common file used by a number of different programs.

Do a search of your computer, you may already have a copy of it somewhere in a different program folder (Rather than downloading it from some dodgy website). If you find it copy and paste it into the C:\windows\system32 folder then run Firefox and it should run.

You might get this if the file mcenspc.dll is leftout while uninstalling some program or when attempted to elimitate spyware or malware through spyware scan.

This has proved not to be a threat and it is safe to remove from the Computer. To do this :

1. Click Start -> Run -> Type System32 -> Ok
2. Look for mcenspc.dll
3. Right Click on the file and click Delete
4. Reboot the computer

Everything should be fine now

Step 1: Download Windows Vista UxTheme patch.
How to install
1. Login as a user with Administrative privileges -or- have Administrative credentials already.
2. Navigate to %systemroot%\System32
3. Right-click uxtheme.dll and click properties.
4. Take ownership of the file and close dialogs.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for themeui.dll and shsvcs.dll
6. Right-click uxtheme.dll and click properties.
7. Give yourself (or group) Full Control permissions and close dialogs.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for themeui.dll and shsvcs.dll.
9. Rename uxtheme.dll to uxtheme.old.
10. Rename themeui.dll to themeui.old.
11. Rename shsvcs.dll to shsvcs.old.
12. Copy patched files into %systemroot%\System32
13. Reboot (yes, this is really required)

Step 1b: If you find the above too intimidating, download VistaGlazz and just run it, it automates the whole patching process so you don’t have to worry about it

Step 2: Download a Windows Vista Visual Style from a free Windows Vista Themes gallery, and copy the theme to Windows/Resources/Themes folder.
Step 3: Right click on desktop and click on Personalize. From the page that pops up, click on Theme and choose your newly installed theme!

If you are running windows vista please follow these instructions carefully.

1. Click on "Start".

4. Right click on the Command Prompt, select "run as administrator".

6. You will now get a message box saying "vbscript.dll" has been registered.
7. Reinstall QuickCam
