Frigidaire LTF2940ES Hums

I just moved into a new house and hooked up our Washer again. It worked fine for the first 3-4 loads. Nothing changed on the 5 load it filled with water then just say there and hummed (makes a vibrating sound) like the washer was on a spin cycle but nothing is moving. I've shut it off, unplugged it. I receive no error codes. I've removed the clothes, thinking it maybe an unbalanced load, but nothing. Even when I try to drain/spin it. Nothing happens it just sounds like it's in a high spin and nothing is moving.

Any ideas?

Sky WASHER WILL NOT SPIN OUT.WHEN IT HITS THE SPIN CYCLE IT WILL MAKE A FEW SLOW SPINS AND THEN TURN OFF DESPITE HAVING 8-9 MIN. LEFT ON TIMER

Sounds like something is stuck in drain pump

washer will not go into high spin untill water is pumped out

i don't know. be careful with electricity. if possible, try running normal washer load along with your dryer but with [no heat] 'cold air only' to see if they will keep running.
if they run OK, consider shutting off both washer and dryer. shut off main electrical panel and change fuses for both washer and dryer. turn hydro on and run both again
with your normal settings. if they fail again please call for repairs. my dryer would not run and although everything looked and tested out OK, i had to replace a small 6x8"
electrical box having 2 only 30 amp screw in fuses.
then it ran OK.

LTF2940ES E47 code repair

The E47 error code is usually an indication of a failed door lock/latch. To verify this, you will need to ohm out the PTC on the door lock. If the door lock does not ohm out correctly, then it will need to be replaced.

The moving company transported our frount load frigidaire washer and we are now trying to set it up without them. Is there some stabilizer they put on the machine that we need to change out?

Well good luck on you moving in.

Their is no such thing as that, on your unit, hook up drian, hook up hold and cold hose, look at back of unit blue for cold, red for hot, or you will see a H&C stamped on the metal.

Washer fills with water then stops

2 things make sure the washer is balanced. and make sure theres nothing was stuff in the bottom of the washer when you were moving

Call Service and have them come out.
If it's new your our under warranty for 1 year!

If it's 10 years or older then do not waste the money .
The newer ones are more efficient!

Sounds like the belt may be off. Was it moved with the shipping braces out? It may have caused some internar damage. You might check to see if the hum is coming from the door lock area. If the lock is out it won't let drain or spin.

Water inlet leaking

Take the hose off the valve and look inside it. There should be a flat rubber seal inside the hose coupling that seals to the valve. It sounds like you have lost this washer out of the end of the hose. You can pick them up at any hardware store. If they are over 5 years old, I suggest replacing the hoses completely anyway.
If this is not the problem, you may have cross threaded the hose on the valve. If this is the case you may have to change the valve.
