Try to reset the camera to original manufacturers settings. This option can be found on the Menu
<settings> where it says Reset. If that doesn't fix it then you could have either
a bad flash, bad capacitor or even a bad board. You will need to have your camera repaired or if you are a techy you can do it yourself by purchasing a Mainboard assembly (which includes the flash assembly) from Ebay.. costs only around $12.. This will take care of the flash/capacitor/board issues.

EX-Z75 Camera Battery won't charge. Red light flashing

Red light flashing means faulty battery. You need to call tech support and they will replace the battery for you. Just make sure you tell them that it's been under a year since you purchased it. :)

Casio Exilim z75 - unable to take pictures

Try shutting off your flash and see if it still does that. It sounds like you have a problem with your flash not charging correctly. You can try resetting the camera but I doubt if that will help. I would try just shutting the flash off and see if that would help.

The chances are pretty good that the battery is bad. Buy a new battery - they are inexpensive.

CASIO EX-Z75 CAMERA CABLE

I called Parts Replacement at 1-800-223-2001 and they told me I would have to purchase the USB Cable for my casio exilim ex-z75 over the phone for $4 (part) + $4.95 (S&H) because it not sold ANYWHERE online. I was hoping to get a cheap cable for a few bucks, but this is better than nothing!
