HI there the best and easy way is remove the memory card from the camera and use a card reader. Connect the memory card in the card reader and connect it with the PC. Then open My computer and there you can find removal disk driver. Open the driver and copy all the folders from there to your computer. After complete the transfer open the folder. You will find all the photos there.
If not then let me know.

You need to format the card IN YOUR CAMERA using the camera's format feature (look for it in the menus). Make sure that you save all the enclosed pictures onto your computer first as formattin will erase the card.

I have a canon powershot sd 1200 is. I tried to transfer the photos from the camera into a laptop using the memory card; t didn't work. Put the card back into the camera. Now camera says...

This sounds like your card has some type of error that is causing the images not to be seen. My suggestion is that you go to your local chain pharmacy (such as Walgreens, CVS, Duane Reade) and put your memory card into their photo kiosk machine to read the pictures. Hopefully their machine will be able to read the memory card and then you can have them copy your pictures to a CD/DVD. After this is done then you would be able to reformat the card and clear the error. If the card still does not read or work then it seems you will need to look into a service that does data recovery.

Good Luck,
Paul

Get message "cannot create folder"

Format the memory card in the camera, not the computer. Also, it could be a memory card issue, do other cards cause the camera to return the same message. If yes, then it well could be the camera.

When I connect my Lumix DMC FZ45 to my Laptop, I am unable to delete images on camera card with Laptop software, because it is "write protected". How can I change this?

Look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

I recommend against deleting images on the card via your computer. If you want to delete a few pictures, do it from the camera. If you want to delete all of them, format the card in the camera instead. FixYa is full of people asking how to salvage pictures from cards which have undergone repeated write/delete cycles without formatting.

Pictures: after taking 4-5 pictures in a roll my lcd displays "busy" i than have to wait 2-4 secounds before taking another picture... dose anyone know why this happens and how to correct it?

When you take a picture, the file gets placed in a buffer on the camera to wait for the memory card to be able to accept it.
When you take a lot of photos in a row, the buffer fills up, as the memory card can only be written to at a certain speed (usually slower than you can take the pictures). If the buffer is full, you cannot take more pictures until space has opened up. This only happens once the file has transferred from the buffer to the memory card.
There is no way to correct this, though you can get faster memory cards, which can reduce the amount of time an image spends in the buffer.

Camera says card locked

1) Try to unlock it by the lock/unlock switch on the side of the memory card.

2) If step 1 does not work replace memory card with new card.

3) If step 1 & 2 do not work the problem is internal (inside the camera). Go to www.ecasiorepair.com to get a quote for repair. Cost will be anywhere from $39-115 to fix it (if not under warranty). You could even ask if this is a defective camera (lemon) they might even fix it for free? I've seen this issue with the Casio a lot.

Memory card fault or camera fault?

When the camera writes the image files to the memory card, it also creates index/information files. Without those files the camera will not display the images.

Check the software you used to upload the images with. There's probably a checkbox or option that tells it to delete the images from the card after uploading them.
