You can repair this by replacing the batteries. You will find the correct batteries for model 7735X at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

To replace, take off the plastic lotion packet cover on the back. Remove screw to take off the 'cap' on the botton then remove 4 screws to take off battery cover to access batteries. For easier replacement, it is suggested that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries rather than unsoldering them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can then solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs

How do you change the batteries in a norelco 7735x razor?

Remove the translucent back cover to reveal 4 screws. Remove those screws and a 5th screw located in the 'cap' on the bottom of the shaver. This will allow you to remove the lid of the battery compartment.
Use the information at the shaveroutlet.com video below fro battery installation

Hinge on head came apart

It shouldnot come apart. If it has come apart the plastic that holds the hinge is broken. You will need to replace the head holder as it includes the hinge. You will find one for model 7735X at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

Stopped running. About 4 years old. Won't take charge. Moderl # 8865 XL

Most likely, the batteries are the problem. You will find the correct battery type for model 7735x at shaveroutlet.com. See link below.

To replace, you will need to remove the back cover by removing the screws. Take off back cover to access inside. There are two metal clips that must be unhooked for better access. You can unsolder the batteries from the circuit board but for easier replacement, it is sometimes suggested that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries with small needle nose pliers rather than unsoldering them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can then solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs

If you are not able to do this yourself, you can have shaveroutlet.com do it for you. See link below
