Need to change recent order to new address

Depends on where you ordered it from. On that site there should be an option to review and edit recent orders. No one can tell you how to do that without more specific information, such as where you bought it from...

Cleaning the blades of my Electric razor

The smell that you are noticing is a mixture of decomposing skin particles, skin oil and hair. This is because you are not getting the blades clean enough.
Philips (Norelco) has been introducing all of their shaver with the ability to clean them with water, however, this is not a very good way to clean them because the oil in your skin that collects on the blades does not easily clean out with water. If you must clean with water, make sure the water is as hot as will come out of your faucet. A better way to clean it is with rubbing alcohol because it works better and will help kill germs which may cause smell.
Of course, the best way to clean the shaver heads is to remove them individually and brush them out thoroughly. However, Philips made it impossible to remove the blades on the Arcitec models. The Arcitec modelsare simply designed very poorly for cleaning.

If you are unable to thoroughly clean the heads, you may elect to replace them. It is suggested that they be changed every 12 months. You will find replacement heads at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

My philips jet cleaner doesn't work anymore!! when

I have had 3 1050CC shavers all with the same problem. Apparently other models have the same issue. After about a year of use, the unit reverses after dipping the shaver into the cleaning solution for a second. Two were replaced by Philips within the 2 year warranty period. I still use the 3rd one. There are several things you can try. If the cleaning solution is low this will cause the shaver to reverse and not clean. Add more cleaning solution. I have noticed that sometimes I have to add more fluid to the unit after a week of use. Sometimes it is necessary to fill the solution a little above the max fill line. Be careful though. Filling it too much above the max fill line can cause cleaning fluid to run out of the bottom after a cleaning cycle. If the above two fixes don't work, then press the clean button and after the unit reverses back up, wait about 5 or 10 minutes and press it again and it should stay down as long as there is enough cleaning solution in the unit. If you wait too long or too little to press the button, it won't work. I have noticed if I press the button immediately after it reverses the same problem occurs. Also if I wait 30 minutes before pressing the button the same problem occurs. There must be some sort of timing cycle. You may have to repeat this process a few times to get it to stay down and clean. This is the only way I can get mine to clean now. Obviously something is getting dirty or wearing out over time in the cleaning system. Since I have had 3 shavers with the same problem, I know many others have had it too. Philips must be aware of the problem. It is frustrating that they don't offer help on their own website and consumers have to band together to solve problems that they should be solving. The two year guarantee is very generous, but there is a design flaw with this product.

Jet clean system doesn't work

Did your Jet Clean System used to work, but now rejects the razor and flashes a red indicator that your reservoir is empty when it is not? The reason is that the liquid level sensor is full of gunk (you don't want to know what the gunk is made of). You can easily clean this yourself and restore normal operation. Here's how: 1. Remove the razor and reservoir. Leave it plugged in. 2. Press the start button and when the holder hits the bottom and stops, immediately pull the plug before it comes back up. 3. Turn the unit over and clean off the gunk you can see with a Q-Tip. 4. Fill the cleaned reservoir beyond the line (almost to the top) with hottest tap water and place it on a towel on your counter. 5. Mix in 1/8 teaspoon of dishwasher detergent. Do not use Dawn or other dish detergent. It must be the type you use in your dishwasher! (Trust me on this). 6. Lower the unit onto the reservoir and let it soak for at least 20 minutes. 7. Hold the reservoir down on the towel by depressing the release buttons and pull and put the cleaning unit in and out of the reservoir 20 or more times to flush out the crud. 8. Refill the reservoir with clean, hot water and do the pull - push trick again many times. Rinse and refill the reservoir with hot water and do this again 2 more times until the water is clear and there is no debris to be seen in the water. 9. Remove the reservoir and allow the cleaner to dry thoroughly. Depending on the humidity where you do this, drying can take from several hours to an entire day. A hair dryer on the part you cleaned with the Q-Tip may help, but time will still be needed. 10. Assemble and try it. It should work like new. If it does not work properly, (mine acted like it was jammed) don't worry, it is likely not completely dry inside. Remove the reservoir and wait for it to completely dry before trying again. Have fun!

It's a hack, but you can use needle nose plyers to let you pry open those razor blade heads to clean the blades inside the heads. My Arcitec shaver stopped working after being clogged, rather than pay $50 for new blades, I just opened it up, took out the blades and cleaned it with an old toothbrush and soap. 803a8aba-577b-4dd5-b52e-ae7a2458bab2.jpg 5ad496c8-7607-44bc-a579-a1f98a4246fb.jpg c362edfb-fb3e-4c00-8221-99b8a095d1d7.jpg

Yes, after you push the start button on the unit, pull the plug out of the wall socket when the arm gets to its bottom position. It will stop at this lowered position. When you plug it in again, it will go back to its upright position. Norelco ships the new cleaning units in this contracted position. When you plug it in presto! You are ready to go.

Jet Clean System not working

I had this same issue with my shaver and tried the method suggested without any affect. I then looked at the underside of the razor cradle and discovered two philips screws. I removed them and and a plastic cover comes off to expose the fluid sensor. The sensor has two wires leading into a molded assembly. I noticed that mine had a couple of cracks and one caused a piece of the material to fall off. I could now see a piece of metal underneath. I cleaned the sensor with water to remove all cleaning solution and then dried it with a hair dryer. I searched for something to seal the sensor and found some touchup paint for my car. I used it to paint and seal the visible surface of the molded sensor. I re-assembled the unit and let it dry. Everything worked fine after that.
