Dell pocket dj 5mb wont turn on

Hi:

I purshased a refurbished dell pocket dj 5 mb recently from the US (Frys at San diego). I have successfully installed the software that came along with the pack.

I then connected my dell dj and it just wont come on. I have charged my dell dj for over 6 hours now...it still shows that it is charging

    same problem...won't boot or charge...need help.

    Installed software, loaded music, played great... charged it then nothing.

    When connected to USB it comes on momentarily... still won't boot. Thanks BOB

There is a pin hole to reset it.On the botom side beside the dell logo you will see it.Use a pin to reset.

I think your Dell pocket DJ is an XP based Operating system.
1 press the start button
2. go to all progams and choose windows update and update your laptop
3. when the update is done, restart your system and try again.

Please tell me the pocket version you are using?

Dell dj 5 will not charge up at all!!!!!!!
if you have any (car or home) mini usb charger it will charge it for a few seconds but do this multiple times until if at least turns on then charge it from your computer

Ineed original software for my RCA M202E mp3 player, as well as a DELL DJ 512 MB mp3

Drivers, software and firmware for the Dell DJ and Pocket DJ can be downloaded from the Dell website at this link.

According to the RCA website (www.rca.com) there are no downloads available fo the M202. I'd recomend contacting RCA directly at 1-800-336-1900 to see if they can provide the software you need.

Dell Dj 5 will not hold a charge
FYI, replacing the battery did not solve the problem of the battery refusing to charge. Instead, I've spent $30 at batteryship.com and since I've opened the battery I can't return it. There must be a software or hardware failure that's preventing the unit from charging the battery.
