I have a 2-year old FE-360 that recently stopped turning on to take pictures. It beeps 12 times and won't show a view. I can, however, turn it on to look at stored pictures by holding down the view pictures option while pressing power. I've tried cleaning/checking the lens aperature, and have verified that the battery is charged. Any ideas?
Never heard from anyone else. Ended up sending it back to Olympus, costs $60 to repair. Figured it was better than buying a new one, as I really like the camera.Never heard from anyone else. This might sound dumb, but are you sure the lens is clean of dirt or oil, this will cause that kind of effect. If not, how old is the camera? If it is under 1 Year, I can have it repaired for you under warranty, my fee would 35.00.

I put the memory card in and on some of my photos it shows the pictures and others it says picture error. Also, when I go to view all pictures, it doesn't show them, they're just blank black boxes.
if it's a pull plug and try again, you're going to have to replace two caps on the board. I had the same problem with this piece of garbage almost a year ago. I searched the web and found the solution. it worked, but now there's a burn on the screen. I've only had the tv for three years.
