I have a samsung wa13v9 top loader washing machine and each time i turn it ON, it trips the circuit breaker

unplug it. turn OFF breaker and then take cover plate off of outlet and check for loose wires. if they are slightly loose tighten them up after making sure the wires are all seated tight reinstall the outlet back into box and reapply cover plate. then turn breaker back on. you can also save time by taking cover plate off then turn machine back on but watch outlet to see if you see a spark when breaker trips. If you do then you know you need to tighten wire on the nuts of outlet or replace outlet.

You have a connection problem. Inspect your work, start from the breaker and work your way down to the dishwasher. Please do this with the power off!

No power to two outlets other two work in the room on the same grid circuit box isn't tripping

There is a possibility that the two outlets that are not working are on the lower end of that particular circuit. If that is the case, there is also a big possibility that the connections on one of the working outlets is not transferring the current to the other two that are not working. Suggest you verify that the the connections feeding current on down the circuit line are tight and well connected. Hope this works. For safety sake, ensure that the breaker for that circuit is turned off before you start fiddeling arown with the connections. Good Luck.

No power to outlets in kitchen

You need to start with your breaker panel, looking for any tripped breakers. Check all the breakers in the panel. They should be numbered and the numbers will match a ledger on the door. Find the kitchen outlets and move the breaker switch to the off position and then back to on. Hope this helps Fix Ya up.

Help, please... I have an ITE B*L LOADMASTER (15 amp) circuit breaker controlling a group of lights and outlets. some of the lights and outlets are working while some others are not. What's with that? ...

Assuming that no one has been tampering with the wiring, sounds like you have a bad connection in the circuit. You'll have to start pulling lights, switches, and receptacles out to check the connections. It is a time consuming process. The lights and outlets that aren't working are probably downstream from the ones that are working, so start at the last outlet or light (switch) that is working, based on your best guess. Remember that the light switch boxes may have the hot wire too.

All circuit breakers good in box. have no power to 3 rooms on outlets or lights . problem started when using a hair dryer hooked too a drop cord in a outlet

the first thing that I would check is to see if there is a GFI outlet inline with the other outlets that are not working,, if there is one then check to see if you can reset it using the little reset button -- if by using the reset button does not fix this problem then there is the chance that the GFI outlet is bad and needs to be replaced. the next thing that comes to mind is that you said the breakers in the box are good, but I have seen sometimes where you need to flip the breaker totally off and then back on and this could reset the breaker. if you are still having troubles then the problem could be that one of the outlets in line has gone bad and needs to be replaced or the breaker in the box could also be bad ( use a meter to check that you have power on the output side of the breaker and trace from there from outlet to outlet until you find the bad one ) ---- could also be just a bad wire and while testing with your meter you should find it as you test the wires to the outlets.

While air fluffing some shirts the dryer quit and will not start. is there a breaker or fuse internal to the unit?

Check the breaker in your home's breaker box. The dryer will be the only thing that is on it. It will be a double breaker and looking might not tell you if it has tripped. If it isn't marked just grab the swich and see if it's "wiggly" on each double breaker. If you find a wiggler, flip it all the way over to "off" then back to "on". If the breakers are all fine, the next place to check is the wall outlet itself. If you have a volt meter, first check the slots in the outlet. If you get nothing, pull the wall plate off of the outlet and check the wires leading to the outlet. If they have power, replace the outlet. To the best of my somewhat experienced knowledge, there is no fuse in dryer and I know there is no breaker in it.

Had a storm, blew all the breakers got the breakers re-set but now the coffee maker won't even start

Hi, W/D here.
Try something else in the outlet. Most kitchens have ground fault outlet circuits, so you may have a tripped outlet breaker. These type of circuits can come from the panel through a ground fault circuit breaker, or they can go to the first outlet on a run of outlets. If the first outlet is ground fault protected, the others on that same run are protected as well. If another device will work in your coffeemaker outlet, the coffeemaker is probably dead. If another device will not work in the outlet, and your coffeemaker will work in a known, good outlet, you'll need to look at all of the outlets in your kitchen and bathrooms for an outlet with a "test" and a "reset" button on it. If your outlet is on that circuit, you will need to push the reset button to restore power to your coffeemaker's outlet.
Best regards, --W/D--
