Check the density/contrast? Might just have a bad control panel needs to be replaced.

it sounds like something has came loose. you have to take the control panel apart and you should find a grey flat plastic cabel about 2 1/2 to 3 inches wide.hook it back up and maybe use some electrical tape to keep it in place and that should fix it.

Reset the Control Panel
A power surge or outage may cause the "Clean" light to flash continuously after power is restored. Sounds like control panel failure or the keypad is locked/stuck.

Try hold temperature UP & DOWN together for 6 seconds.
or if you have a Balboa 7 button controls, both buttons to the left of the display screen & down temperature.

As your lights are flashing the button might be stuck in the down position.

More than likely it is a shorted key. replace the touch panel.

Your control panel is getting ready to quit. Mine did the same thing, I ignored it and now nothing on the touch panel works. About $150.00 for the part.
