Where can I get a adapter for the 15 pin usb cable on the saitek r110 wheel so I can use the wheel on a newer usb port computor

There are Joystick/Gameport (DB15/RS232) to USB converters. However, all of the ones that I know are DB15 F to USB 2.0 Type A M. Since USB 3.0 type A ports are backwards compatible with USB 2.0 type A, one of these might work with the wheel. If your system only has USB type C ports, you may need an extra adapter (USB A (F) to C (M) ).

(I've used USB converters for serial port (RS232) before. However, some hardware uses non-standard pin assignments so they don't always work. Generic OS drivers may also be an issue with the converter and your steering wheel.)

All the manuals and drivers are on the Saitek Website, very easy and straightforward to find and download what you need.
Just make sure it's plugged in to a USB port.

from panasonic.net. The drivers are already included in Windows 7 so you use these drivers manually when you install the printer to your computer :)

You can buy a 15 pin to USB adapter but for the cost of one you might be better off buying a new joystick.

The Dynex adapter does not have any numbers on it. It was the one that is only about a foot in length and has a square center piece that houses the conversion electronics. Standard 9 pin RS-232 male plug on one end and the standard USB plug on the other end. I purchased it within the last month at BestBuy here in Austin TX.

Connections

I too have this exact same joystick so when I tried to plug it into my new pc (that I built 2 yrs ago as of Feb.14,11) I had to use a: 15-pin to USB adapter with chord.
I got it from eBay.ca in the $5-$10 range shipped to me from Chnia.

It's called the: Super Joy Box 7 USB Gameport Adatper

They are still available from eBay.ca & eBay.com as of Dec.06,10 (the time of writing this posting).

For me it wokrs, but only 1/2 - as in:
- the fire button + 3 other buttons - work fine
- the HAT switch (4-way) - refuses to work
- the full range of the joysticks motions are reduced (on the right side)

Because of these limitations I had to learn to used the keyboard buttons to fly planes & choppers in the pc game - GTA:SA.
I plan to buy the pc game GTA4 as soon as it goes down in price of it's current $20 & buy a...
Saitek Cuborg Graphite Joystick PS21 that is newer and uses a USB connection.

Buy a USB to gameport adapter from Radioshack ($1.85!!!! cos it's sooo old) set the switch on the adapter to joystick B (with "hat" switch) and then you can hook it up.....drivers are another issue...I'm still searching..:-)

Sorry to say this so vaguely, but Google it. I am positive that Google will have the answer. Type in the model number, name, and what you need for it and you will be satisfied.

It seems that you have a huge problem. This wheel only connects to a 15 pin game port, newer computers do not have the game port. You have to buy a 15 pin to USB converter, about $30.

And with no pedals?
