Saitek Pro Flight Yoke Suddenly
Try basic troubleshooting first, try to remove and reconnect the ps/2 and usb of the saitek pro flight, also try to put it in different usb ports to see if maybe a usb port is not working, lastly when all else fails try to connect it in another computer and see if it works.
The yoke has effectively got a USB hub built in, and it sounds like your throttles are getting power from the hub okay, but the yoke is not. Suggest you return it for a replacement to Saitek

although this did not solve my problem, it is worth a try to reset the calibration settings stored in the windows registry.
These are the steps for it:
To recalibrate, first unplug the controller.
Go to start/run and type 'regedit'
The registry editor will have a list of folders on the left hand side. Go
down into the following folders in order.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (HKEY_CURRENT_USER if on VISTA)
Inside the Direct Input folder, delete any folder that begins VID_06A3.
Once done, close the editor.
Plug the controller back in and move all the
axes (including throttle) through their full range of movement 4 times.
Now go to control panel/game controllers/properties to see if there are any changes to the test screen?
