Sanyo TV Comcast was having trouble Saturday, my reception kept being interrupted, them my TV just blinked out..so sound, no picture, nothing? It might be co incidental, but the TV went on the blink at the same time

I am having a problem with my Sanyo Flat Screen 42". I get a picture for a day or two and all the sudden I have no picture or sound, so I plugged in the red,white and yellow cord and then the picture came back on. Now today it is out again......

Hello Blwas5 hi, If some channels have sound and others none, its either the TV has poor reception or, its the channel's weak signal. check them both or see if your neighbors TV acts like yours. If thy neighbor reception is good, then thy TV has poor reception, you can't do anything to fix that. get another TV with good reception qualities.

if you have comcast you can use your remote to change the setting to DVD and then change it back to cable. your picture should then come back

This could be attributed to tuning reception of your tv. If your using antenna only, it is most probable. If cable, check your line.

If this is a crt type, moving that tv with that size could somehow bend its circuit board. Loose connection is a probability. Could be some minor component is detached from solder. This can be attributed to tuner and vertical IC.

Try to set up channel SEARCH again, this lets some tv`s find the cable channels and lock them in to the available one, also make sure the reception mode is on cable, "air 34" could be an antenna connection mode.

4 times blinks shows problem in Vertical Deflection area. Please check Vertical Output IC and its supplied volts.

I have the sames t.v you have to go in the back flip the power cord switch...then reboot the t.v.

I'm having the same problem. I was watching tv and it just shut down. turned off for a while and tried to turn back on - nothing. What happened. Had tv for 1 and a half years and never had any trouble until now.
