I have a Cyberhome CH DVD 300 (region 1), I want to change the region on this player. I learned I need for first: 1.- Turn On the DVD player 2.- The tray needs to be closed and empty 3.- Press the Menu button on your remote control 4.- Press the 1 button on your remote control 5.- The currently selected region will be displayed on the screen 6.- Using the ENTER button on your remote control, change the region to 0 (Zero) for multi-region playback 6.- Press the RETURN button on your remote control My problem is: when I press the MENU button, NOTHING happens. Do you have an alternative solution? I come from Mexico and I brought a multi region LG DVD, but it is not working very well. I will need (very soon), to buy another. I am living in USA and I cant no find any multiregion DVD player. I have many Region 4 DVDs. I will appreciate so much your help.

Cyberhome Ch- DVD 300

Your advice was very helpful. After two+ months of tooling around and navigating around the menu blind I was on the brink of trashing it.

At first I tried the stop button with a dvd in the player with no success. After taking the dvd out, turning in off/on then pressing the stop button for 20 seconds the screen turned blue as said.

This help saved me a great amount of fustation.

Thank You!

Multi region for CH DVD 300

There's a tricky process to follow with the remote control to set the region code. It is: -Open the player. -Remove any DVD. -Close the player. -Power off the player. -Wait for 30+ seconds -Power on the player. -Press Menu,1,9 on the remote [this frequently takes a few tries]. -When the region screen appears, press enter to change region (Every time you press enter, the region code on the screen will increment by 1). -When the proper region code is displayed, press Return. -Open the player. -Insert DVD. -Close the player. -(Maybe just my player) If the player doesn't start the DVD, repeat Open/Close until the DVD starts. If it still doesn't start, power off for 10 minutes. Good Luck!

DVD Player stops in "Loading..." mode

1. Check that disc is encoded for your geographical region. A disc from Europe (Region 2) will not play in a North American (Region 1) player. 2. Turn off player with disc inserted, unplug temporarily from wall outlet, plug back in and turn back on. 3. If your player has a transportation lock (usually a plastic screw on the bottom of the unit), make sure that it is not engaged. 4. If you have an older player, check with the manufacturer to see whether an update to the firmware is available. Many newer DVD titles with lots of special features are famous for causing problems on older players. if nothing helps, call for service.
